This camcorder has been modified by us to allow you to record videos and photos in either full spectrum or night vision with the same device.
(Note: Night vision videos and photos are in black and white.)

When powered on, the camcorder defaults to Full Spectrum recording. Night Vision can be enabled by pressing the [OK] button. Press again to disable.
To properly take advantage of the Full Spectrum recording mode, we highly recommend the use of an external light unit, as the built-in IR light only turns on in Night Vision mode.

Please Note:
This camera has been modified to always capture infra-red light. When used in daylight, videos and photos will appear pink-ish due to the large amount of infra-red light emitted by the sun. Additionally, some indoor lighting may also emit some amount of infra-red light.
While the built-in infra-red light is enabled, the camera will only record in black and white. For full spectrum use, it is recommended to use an external infra-red or full spectrum light unit with this camera.

Note on SD cards:

We have tested SD cards of various types (SD/SDHC/SDXC) up to 128GB and confirmed that they all work in this camcorder. Larger cards may work, but have not been confirmed by us.

This camcorder only supports the FAT32 file system. All SD cards you are intending to use with this camcorder will need to be formatted as such. This can be done on the camcorder.
When a card formatted with a different file system is inserted, a prompt will show to allow you to reformat it.
Accepting the prompt will reformat the card, and all data currently on it will be wiped. Please make sure all important data is backed up before proceeding. This only needs to be done once.

Due to the limitations of the FAT32 file system, the maximum size any single file can be is about 4GB. Long recordings will be split across multiple files.
