SHIPPING POLICY
Thank you for visiting and shopping at Spirit Tech. The following information sets out the
terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

  1. Processing your Order
    An email confirmation is sent to your e-mail address after placing your order. Please
    keep this e-mail as proof of your purchase.
  2. Shipment Processing Time
    Processing time refers to the time it takes for us to prepare your order for shipping.
    After your payment is authorised and verified, most orders are processed within 3 business
    days. However, some orders may ship within as few as 1 business day and some may take up
    to 7 business days.
    For simple and straight-forward orders, i.e. orders that do not contain custom items or
    products that need to be built, orders are processed on a first in first out basis, regardless of
    selected postage option.
    Spirit Tech does not offer a priority processing “jump the queue” option at this time.
    Orders with items that need to be built, or custom products may take longer.
    We will contact you for some reason if there are any delays.
  3. Shipment Locations
    3.1. Domestic and International
    Spirit Tech ships domestically as well as internationally. If you have a question
    about domestic or international deliveries, please contact us at
    sales (at) spirittech.com.au.
    International customers ordering a number of items classified as “Dangerous Goods” such as
    products containing lithium-ion batteries will need to contact us for a shipping quote. We are
    unable to give an accurate cost for these orders in our checkout. In some cases, we are unable
    to ship these products internationally.
  4. Shipment rates
    Shipping costs are calculated at the checkout in the online store.
    To find out how much your order will cost, simply add the items you would like to purchase to
    your cart, and proceed to the checkout page. Shipping charges will be displayed once a valid
    address is entered.
    Spirit Tech currently offers the following options for postage, which can be selected at time of
    checkout:
    (a) National Shipping (Within Australia):
    (i) Standard Shipping (Australia Post)
    (ii) Express Shipping (Australia Post)
    (b) International Shipping (Outside of Australia)
    (i) International Standard Shipping (Australia Post)
    (ii) International Express Shipping (Australia Post)
    (c) Please note:
    (i) Some options may not be available for your location at the discretion of Spirit Tech or
    Australia Post.
    Unavailable options will not be shown to you in the checkout.
    (ii) Large orders may be split into separate shipments at no extra cost to you.
    (iii) Multiple orders placed around the same time may be combined into a single shipment at no
    extra cost to you. If you prefer that orders are shipped separately, please leave a note on your
    order, or contact us immediately after placing your orders.
    (iv) When placing your order, the following factors may be considered when calculating the
    postage cost:
    (A) Weight factor: Shipping costs are based on the weight of the items in your order. Heavy
    items may incur extra costs.
    (B) Volume factor: Shipping costs are based on the volume (size and shape) of the items in
    your order. Bulky items may incur extra costs.
    (C) Selected shipping method: The postage option selected at time of checkout. Express
    options will generally be more expensive than standard or economy options.
  5. Delivery time estimates
    We endeavour to get your order to you as soon as possible. Once your order is placed,
    an estimated delivery time will be provided to you. Delivery times are estimates and
    commence from the date of shipment, rather than the date of order. Delivery times are to
    be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order.
    Estimated arrival dates are not guaranteed. Weather delays and other unforeseen
    circumstances may impact delivery time. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we
    make every effort to fulfil your order.
    (a) National Shipping (within Australia)
    (i) Express Shipping (Australia Post)
    (A) Within Victoria: The order should arrive within 1-3 business days.
    (B) Outside of Victoria: The order should arrive within 2-8 business days.
    (ii) Standard Shipping (Australia Post)
    (A) Within Victoria: The order should arrive within 2-4 business days.
    (B) Outside of Victoria: The order should arrive within 4-13 business days.

    (b) International Shipping (Outside of Australia)
    Please refer to the delivery times on the Australia Post website at
    https://auspost.com.au/service-updates/international-delivery-times
    (c) Please note:
    (i) Business day means Monday to Friday, except holidays.
    (ii) Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.
    (iii) Date of delivery may vary due to carrier shipping practices, delivery
    location, method of delivery, and the items ordered.
    (iv) Products may be delivered in separate shipments, and packages may arrive at different
    times.
    (v) When placing your order, we consider these factors when calculating the
    Estimated Delivery Date:
    (A) Transit Time: The amount of time it takes your order to leave our
    distribution centre and arrive at the local delivery carrier.
    (B) Selected shipping method: The postage option selected at time of checkout. Express
    options will generally arrive sooner than standard or economy options.
    (vi) Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, packages to and from our facility in Dingley
    Village, Victoria, Australia may be delayed. We appreciate your patience
    during this time.
  6. Tracking Options
    Spirit Tech aims to provide visibility and transparency throughout the shipment process.
    Once your order is confirmed and shipped, you will receive a link to track your package.
    5.1. Domestic and International
    Most orders delivered within Australia automatically have tracking, with the exception of
    standard letter post ($1.20-$6.00), used for orders containing only small items such as stickers
    or key chains. If you require a tracking number for these orders, please select Express
    Shipping in the checkout. International orders are sent with an international Courier of our
    choice. This service comes with tracking and your tracking number will be sent to you once it
    has been posted. If we are requested to make alternative shipping arrangements
    we cannot guarantee tracking and will not be responsible for the delivery of orders
    sent internationally.
  7. International Customs, Duties and Taxes
    All orders shipping to a destination outside of Australia are subject to the import duties,
    fees, and taxes of the destination country. Delays in delivery may occur if your package
    is randomly selected by your country’s Customs Department. Spirit Tech is not
    responsible for any possible customs and taxes applied to your order. We have no
    control over the process or additional charges associated with the delivery and
    importation of your order (package) into your country. We do not benefit in anyway from
    these chargers and we work very closely with our brokers and carriers to ensure as few
    delays as possible. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the
    customer. You agree that you are responsible for any duty, taxes, and custom
    requirements or other like taxes, fees, levies, costs or expenses associated with
    importing products you purchase from us and shipping them internationally.
  8. Damages
    If there is any damage to the packaging on delivery, contact us immediately at
    sales (at) spirittech.com.au.
  9. Missing or Lost Package
    There are several reasons why a package gets lost or becomes a deliver exception.
    We’ve found that, more often that not, the package is either in the building or with a
    neighbour. Spirit Tech politely requests that customers look in common courier hiding
    spots. Please take a look around and let us know if you find it. If you haven’t located your
    order, please contact us at sales (at) spirittech.com.au to report missing or lost packages.
    Spirit Tech is not responsible shipment to the wrong address if you have provide us with
    incorrect information. Please ensure the correct shipping address is entered at time of
    checkout.
    If you have placed an order with incorrect information, please contact us immediately so we
    can correct it. We may be unable to catch orders that have already been dispatched and
    marked as “Completed”.
    (a) Please note that auto-fill services (a feature that automatically fills in forms on websites
    with predefined information) can sometimes be unreliable, and can fill in incomplete or
    incorrect information. If you opt to use one of these services, please check that the
    information it has entered is complete and correct.
